A vivid childhood memory: purchasing this album with my brother at the neighborhood Waxie Maxie’s in 1982. Racing home, ripping off the plastic, marveling at the fold-out of Michael with the tigers as the rhthymic beginning of Billie Jean cranked on our stereo…To this day I can’t recall feeling that same excitement about any other recording.
