About this blog

As the editor of San Francisco State Magazine, I have interviewed more SF State alumni than you can shake a Gator at–Academy Award winners and bestselling authors, mayors and Mythbusters, comedians and Congressmen, producers and police chiefs. I’ve developed a “sixth sense” for all things SF State (I see SF State people– they’re everywhere!) Much of what I learn goes into the pages of our twice-a-year University magazine. As for the rest, well, for a long time, I had no outlet. I could only babble incessantly to family and friends (Did you know that an SF State student started the AIDS quilt? And that another one invented the waterbed?) Now, through this blog, I’m delivering my Gator observations and sightings to SF State fans everywhere.
